What is Bankfishing?
Bankfishing Tournaments are all-species fishing competitions
typically held on the banks of rivers, lakes, ponds, or reservoirs.
The rules are simple:
1. Two lines
in the water at a time.
2. All baits may be used. Example of popular baits ( ie. Worms, Corn, Bee-moths,
Maggots, Leeches, Liver, Minnows, Bread).
3. All fish
species count.
4. Most
total weight wins!
This simple format makes for exciting fishing. Species which are ignored in most fishing
competitions are welcomed in this event. (Such as catfish, bluegills, sunfish,
crappie, carp, suckers)
Many inventive techniques for catching fish have also
been developed in this sport including.

Men, Women, Juniors, Seniors,
and Disabled are all welcome to participate.
